Located at just 70 meters from the hotel. It is a large and sandy beach with a fantastic view to the Mede’s Islands.
Pals beach is a stretch of fine golden sand more than two miles long and around 40 yards wide. Lying on Platja de Pals you have a wonderful view of the Begur headland to your right, L’Estartit and the Montgri Massif to your left, and the marine reserve of the Medes Islands ahead of you.
Offers a delightful view of the Medes Islands, and very suitable for those who wish to relax in the sunshine. You can walk to that beach from Sa Riera, too, via a pleasant coastal trail that leads first to the cove called Illa Roja, and ends in the Platja del Racó. It is a nudist beach.
Sa Riera is a picturesque fishing village with some of the original houses still right by the sea. There are no large buildings or developments and most houses are individually designed and owned, arranged close to a large expanse of beach that rarely, if ever, becomes crowded.
Because of its secluded situation and tortuous access, Sa Tuna is a cove which always results in an unexpected discovery for those who visit it. This stony cove offers wonderful bathing in clean, transparent waters, and quiet walks along the coastal paths, by which you can reach the Aiguafreda cove and the Cap Sa Sal, or the hidden cove called s’Eixugador, a wild calm spot only accessible by foot or boat.
It's one of three coastal towns belonging to the municipality of Palafrugell, the other two being Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc.
